Is 3 days in Holbox enough?

Three days is enough time to see and experience the main attractions of Holbox, such as the beaches and the chance to see whale sharks. The island is very small so you can easily get around and see different parts, beaches, and areas with ease so you won’t waste a lot of time traveling.

Holbox is MUCH cheaper than Tulum. Tulum is a more developed and popular tourist destination that attracts a more luxurious crowd. Holbox is less developed and offers more affordable options.

However, I did go to some restaurants in Holbox that were on the same level of expensive as Tulum so keep your eye out!
