Before visiting Mallorca I was obsessed with finding the best place to stay in Mallorca that was close to beaches, close to the towns I wanted to visit, and had an authentic island feel.

I stayed in three different hotels while in Mallorca to find many different options at differing price points, locations, and more. I also visited some others on day trips to get an idea of other options for people who want something different than my preferences!

The overall best place to stay in Mallorca really will depend on what you are looking for in your visit to Mallorca.

Do you want to be close to beaches? Big cities? Cute villages? Or do you value the hotel and property over what it is near?

I wanted to be close to everything but really valued an authentic Mallorca holiday – which included staying near enough to beaches and towns while staying in a semi-remote, agroturismo-type accommodation.
