I love traveling around Europe in April. This is the best month to visit some of the most touristy places in Europe when the weather is nice and the tourist crowds are less. I always travel a ton in April and make the most of this amazing month!

Amsterdam in April is one of the best months of the year! This is largely thanks to its vibrant atmosphere and blooming tulips. In April the canals come alive with boats and blossoms, making this already beautiful city even more beautiful.
As someone who lived in Amsterdam for 5 years, I can confidently say April is one of the BEST months to visit the city. Not only for the weather and blooming tulips but also for Kings Day!
Weather: April brings milder weather, with temperatures averaging between 7°C to 14°C (45°F to 57°F). There will be no snow in Amsterdam but more sunny days and warmer temperatures!
Special Events: Don’t miss the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens, where millions of tulips and other flowers are in full bloom. King’s Day (Koningsdag) on April 27th is the biggest celebration of the YEAR where the entire day is full of orange and the canals and full of people, music, and partying!
