The best way to get from Ao Nang to Railay Beach is by taking a long tail boat from Ao Nang for 200 bahts (~€5.3) round trip. The boats run almost constantly and are a super fun and authentic way to reach the beach.

Railay Beach has a few different beaches located in the area such as West Railay Beach, East Railay Beach, and Phra Nang Beach. The main beach is West Railay Beach is the main beach plus a popular sunset spot.

East Railay Beach is a more private beach and is a popular place for rock climbering. Phra Nang Beach is home to the famous Phra Nang Cave, which is home to a shrine for a mythical princess.

Day Trip to Krabi Hot Springs

The Krabi Hot Springs (Klong Thom Hot Springs) is a set of natural hot springs located in Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve in Krabi, Thailand. They are heated naturally from mineral water from deep underground and can reach up to 40°C.

The hot springs are a popular place for relaxation and healing as the minerals in the water are said to have therapeutic properties.

The hot springs are located about 64km from Ao Nang (1 hour and 10 minutes) and are open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Entrance is 90 bahts (~€2.40) for the hot springs and 200 bahts (~€5.3) for Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve and Crystal/ Emerald pool.

The Emerald Pool is a freshwater pool located in the Thung Teao Forest Natural Park in Krabi, Thailand. The pool is famous for its unique emerald green water which is due to the mixing of hot and cold water.

The park is open daily from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with an entrance fee of 200 bahts (~€5.3) for foreigners. Just note that this is a pretty busy attraction in Krabi so arriving early is essential if you want to enjoy it without a ton of other people.
