How to get to Ubud

How to get around Ubud
- Scooter – This is the most popular way to get around Bali and costs only 60,000 IDR per day.
- Grab / Go-Jek – Similar to Uber. With this, you can get picked up in a car or scooter and driven around. The scooter option is a very cost-effective way to get around. The Go-Jek app is very useful for calling a car wherever you are. Just beware; it can sometimes be hard to get a Go-Jek in Ubud because local taxi’s want them boycotted so they can overcharge tourists. As a result, you have to get picked up in obscure spots.
- Taxi – If you can’t get a Go-Jek then open the app and see how much the Go-Jek would have cost you and tell the taxi driver how much it says and get them to charge about the same.
